libftdipp1-2v5 software package provides Library to control and program the FTDI USB controllers, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libftdipp1-2v5
libftdipp1-2v5 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libftdipp1-2v5 package were installed using the commands given below,
